Egypt's Q2 revenues from tourism falls 10 pct

CAIRO (Reuters) - Egypt's receipts from tourism fell 10 percent to $2.46 billion in the second quarter of 2008/2009 compared with the same period a year earlier.

The second quarter in the Egyptian financial calendar runs from October to December.

Tourism is one of Egypt's key foreign currency earners, along with Suez Canal receipts, remittances from Egyptian expatriates and natural gas exports.
