Nigeria's Benue Cement Q2 net profit leaps

LAGOS (Reuters) - Nigeria's Benue Cement Company saw net profit jump to 9.67 billion naira from 1.14 billion in its second quarter to June, the company said on Wednesday.

Turnover at Benue Cement, a unit of local conglomerate Dangote Group, also grew to 19.59 billion naira from 4.10 billion naira in the same period a year ago, the company said in a filing to the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
