Zambia inflation slows to 14.0 pct y/y in July

LUSAKA (Reuters) - Zambia's inflation slowed to 14.0 percent year-on-year in July from 14.4 percent the previous month, the Central Statistical Office said on Thursday.

"The decline in the annual inflation rate in July 2009 was mainly due to the reductions in prices of non-food products," the CSO said in a statement.
